Huff the Horse Helps with Handwriting

I love it when alliterations come naturally! Every time we meet a puppet, one student gets to keep it at their seat while we practice handwriting so the puppet can remind them how to write the letter. Thanks for the help, Huff!

  1. Oh yes! I try to use alliteration as much as possible. Example: I’d introduced the vocabulary word ‘donate’ before a read aloud the day before introducing Donald. So when it was time to look at his objects I said “let’s see what Donald DONATED to our classroom” 🙂
My students listen for it and love it. Sydney slipped thingS into her bag for us, Carl ColleCted as much as possible, Frazer Found some Fun items … hee hee.
